Can a Chiropractor Help Me?

In short, YES! But does this mean chiropractic could make you feel better with your particular health problem?

Your body is self-healing. This means the body can correct most of its health problems. But this can only happen if your body is functioning normally. Your nervous system is the master controller of all function in your body. It is the job of your nerve system to see that everything is functioning properly and keeping you healthy.

Will Chiropractic Heal Me?

Its the body that ultimately heals you and helps you feel better. Chiropractors don't claim to heal you or cure you. Healing originates from inside you.

It is your nerve system that controls the function of your body and ultimately your wellbeing. Any interference to your nerve system will effect the function of the body and therefore effect your own body's ability to keep you healthy.

Essentially, only you can cure you. What the chiropractor does is locate and take away interference to your nervous system and therefore allow your body's healing abilities to take over.

American Healthcare: An Oxymoron

The above mentioned headline is from a fascinating article in the Canadian publication the "Financial Post" that was compiled by Diane Francis, a journalist who took an outside glance at the US healthcare system and compared it to the Canadian system. Ms. Francis's views add some interesting insights to the healthcare system in the US and also the discussion, or lack thereof, associated with this problem.
